O programa Access for Teachers é voltado para professores com conhecimento básico de inglês.
Brasília, 8 de agosto de 2025: A Embaixada e Consulados dos Estados Unidos no Brasil, por meio do Escritório Regional de Língua Inglesa (RELO) e em parceria com a Associação de Servidores da Educação Básica do Piauí (ASSEBEPI), abrem inscrições para o programa Access for Teachers 2025–2026, destinado a professores de inglês da rede pública brasileira. Serão selecionados 320 docentes de todo o Brasil para uma formação gratuita e on-line, com foco na melhoria da proficiência no idioma e na adoção de práticas pedagógicas inovadoras.
As inscrições podem ser feitas de 8 a 29 de agosto no site www.assebepi.org ou diretamente no formulário on-line https://forms.gle/d9m5uUCztiGiexWc7. A lista dos selecionados será divulgada a partir de 5 de setembro. Para se candidatar, professores devem estar lecionando língua inglesa na rede pública e ter acesso à internet. O programa é direcionado a docentes com nível básico de inglês.
“O programa Access for Teachers fortalece o papel essencial dos educadores públicos ao oferecer ferramentas práticas e apoio contínuo para o ensino de inglês no Brasil. É uma honra poder contribuir para o desenvolvimento desses profissionais”, afirma Scott Chiverton, diretor do RELO no Brasil.
O curso será realizado de 30 de setembro de 2025 a junho de 2026, com carga horária de 120 horas. As aulas serão de forma síncrona, via Zoom, e assíncronas pelo Canvas. Durante o programa, os participantes terão suporte de mentores, grupos regionais no WhatsApp e materiais de formação.
