    Honestly, people are paying $250 a month on things like AI subscriptions when that kind of money could buy you a car, a small apartment, or even a piece of land. I’ve tested most of these AI models and, from experience, they’re still far from perfect — they loop, they break, and they rarely finish tasks the way you want. Yet these companies keep charging more while giving you less. All they’re really doing is renting out GPU servers. That’s it.

    The smarter move? Invest in local LLMs. There are thousands of open-source models out there — and more are coming every day. I 100% support open source. It’s the real foundation behind all these companies making money off us today. Don’t get fooled. Put your money where it truly counts.

    Practically in EU I have only new version of Gemini Flash 2.5 – other announment not available 🙁 and price 259$ +VAT in EU – about 300$ – it is very expensive (price of max subscriptions of OpenAI + Claude)

    I’m okay to pay $100 a month for an unlimited coding agent that can really code… Cursor + Gemini 2.5 is doing good at the moment but still it forgets what it did a promt ago and forgets some steps or code parts or files when I want something to be removed or says it has no access to all files and folders that it created during the project… if they can fix these type of problems, I’m okay to give $100 a month
