I used deepseek api with cline 3.2 (reasoning mode) for making a simple react landing page without human touch, and I can say its far behind the claude sonnet 3.5
Its not even able to make the project open in browser, I keep getting 404 error after around 30 attempts.
I asked claude to fix it and it after 2 attemps it fixed it.
I am using cline nearly after published (claude dev) and its getting better and better. But I am very disappointed in deepseek.
I hope I made some mistake and its not that bad😢

To be honest, Cline consumes an excessive number of tokens while consistently delivering underwhelming results – often producing non-functional outputs. While it might handle simple demonstrations like a note-taking app, this doesn't translate well to real-world applications. When challenged with more complex tasks, such as creating a basic web app for PDF uploads with chatbot interaction, Cline fails completely. Meanwhile, alternative tools like Replit, Cursor etc… handle similar projects effortlessly, demonstrating significantly better capability for practical development work.

Still need some work on the UI like drop down arrow but it's ok.
