I just can't get it to select the right 0llama model. I've got an old mac and can only run 1.5 billion parameters. It's like defaulted to 14b and 32b.
Even though I'm running ollama 1.5b as well in the background. The video didn't really touch on that.

This is something I expect from Copilot or any other Microsoft assistant to be able to do, but not just in browser, on all my computer.
Probably we are 5 years away until personal computer inference hardware will be strong enough to be useful offline without a burden to the PC.
But I guess Microsoft (and others) already have cloud subscription offerings in the cooker, just to get you hooked on the service.

Following from browser use web-ui instructions.. UV installed, Environment setup, check (on both macos and windows), activate environment, check. Then: uv pip install -r requirements.txt –>requirements.txt not found on both Macos and linux. On checking there is no requirements.txt in the folder. I also used git to clone browser use itself but would rather use the webui….Must be missing something obvious but can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks all!

how do you find your deepseek api key?
Is there a model that can play games, or if not that, at least interact with files in windows. I have a messy folder an I want AI to sort the files out.

what are your machine specs? I have M2 with 64 G and installed both Deepseek1-32B and 70b via ollama and tried on browser web and they are super slow. It takes 20min to search open AI page and find the first link (the default task) … Am I doing something wrong?
I tried the same setup, but my web ui is stuck in the state "Waiting for a browser session…". Does anyone have an idea about the solution of this??? I installed ollama without problems and can interact with the model in cmd.
9:22 to be fair, you told the model to find the cheapest, not the best. If you selected cheapest flight in Google Flights, you would have found tickets around the same price. (Probably the 1200$ one has a lot of stops).
So a research like this would still be way better and faster on Google Flights (as for right now). Still, cool tests!

I've been playing with DeepSeek for a few hours. I don't get the hype. To me it is practically useless. So far it is nothing like ChatGPT, not even close to the free version of it!
Just for fun I asked it, how do I ask for a coffee in Italian. It took a page of dialog talking to itself to come up with the wrong answer. Hmm
Okay to be fair, it wasn't totally wrong, but it was incomplete at least. ChatGPT gave the correct, full answer in seconds without a page worth of talking to itself.

How did you get this working with function calling? For me, I get the error `deepseek-r1:14b does not support tools`…
I tried all the steps and using the 7b model, but turns out the locally operated r1 is not sufficient enough to run command in the web use and it took so long to finish one command
