The difference is that GPT2 is eerily consistent and immediately shuts down any notion of being made by anyone other than OpenAI, I tried several times to trick it into believing it was created by Google, but it vehemently refused stating “Sorry for the misunderstanding but I am a GPT model created by Open AI. blah blah blah”

The apples question is different for different models you've shown.
If you begin the prompt with TODAY I have three apples. The model is much more likely to get it right. Every good model gets it right with this prompting. GPT-3.5 fails.
What about the censorship filters? The last thing i need is a large greedy corporations dictating what is ethical to discuss.
it's marginally better than GPT-4-Turbo-2024-04-09, which don't get me wrong is very impressive since the vast majority of models don't manage to come even close.
I would be pretty disappointed if this was 4.5, since the improvement is nowhere near that of the improvements between 3 and 3.5
Asking a model about itself is not reliable btw, I had gemini claim it was developed by OpenAI too.
That being said, I am pretty sure it's an OpenAI variant, based on its outputs.
So it's either an improved Gpt-4 Turbo model, or a tiny version of 4.5
It is noteworthy that it blundered a few of my tests heavily, particularly in techsupport questions where it lost more than 50% to the outputs of Opus.
My chatGPT did answer all the questions. Strangely the ascii unicorn was exactly the same to the letter. That was interesting. The snake game result was also better with ChatGpt
My gpt4 got the apples question correct 🤔
Quality input results in quality output.
Subjective, but I found its creative writing better than GPT4 and Opus.

Tried it : made a flappy bird perfectly with smooth gravity and scores, gpt4-turbo barely launched…
