Please, can you give me some more info? I'm new to coding, so I don't understand some aspect of Claude Dev… How does Claude Dev handles virtual environments? Do you prepare vEnv (python) in VSC for the project and then activate vEnv, before starting Claude Dev? I also don't understand how is code execution sand-boxed, but – it is? Would expect some docker container usage, but it can be done without it?

Ok not for me codeium and a mix of other free IA will be enough. I spent 2 days on an appli to make transcriptions of videos on YT and for the moment on odysee too. Even perplexity was better on some points. Claude can be good on some short things, but about modifications of the structure it's bad. Weird sometimes

Claude is weird. I tried to make a flask python app. Half of the code it recommended was javascript for no reason lmao.
Btw chatgpt and gemini could do it in full python.

I'm using Aider for starting projects from scratch and adding big features, and Cursor IDE with their paid subscription for unlimited chat and code apply. It has codebase-wide context so it's perfect for debugging and making adjustments to codes written by Aider. It's a fork of VS Code so you can copy your VS Code settings and extensions with one click. If you use it a lot with large codebase then I'd say the $20 monthly subscription is well worth it because they offer unlimited usage of LLMs like Claude 3.5 Sonnet and GPT 4-o. There is also an Aider helper extension you could install that would sync your currently opened tabs to Aider so you don't have to use command line to add files to Aider's context frequently. I forgot the name but I'm sure you will find it by searching "Aider" and look for the most recently updated one.
When you finally go into it, I liked it.

As you have tried out all these different tools I'd like to see a review video actually comparing them and showing the best LLM development workflow right now. Am using Claude a lot but just copy pasting stuff into Claude web isn't the best
