Can these things even make full product software or just basic apps? I'm looking to build a full blown product with AI as the backend admistrator/manager.
honestly, from my tests, guys don't use this program. claude-engineer didn't work well. still i tried this one and this one didn't work any better. For whatever reason, it sucks. I tried many different models within it and no luck. It might be due to context window issues but even basic functionality that is to do with this program isn't working. /diff toggle doesn't work. the program lists out every line as edited even though its the same. even after /add the files and using /edit. I have to keep /edit and dragging the script files into the terminal every single time I want to make a change or else it doesn't edit the actual files. Even when it says that the files are in memory (which it tells you after you press enter on a prompt, not before which is when it would actually be helpful). Sorry. All of these ai tools are annoying and useless. Don't waste time. That's my opinion. A tool I have found to work much better than all of these is anythingllm. The rag functionality allows it to keep files (programming scripts are long) in memory or recall the files when needed. It can also update the vector database when asked it to with the @agent then telling it to save the latest changes in day to day language (though a feature like /vector-up would be much appreciated). The app has a gui (thank God). The only issue is I haven't got it to update files on my computer just yet. It can export files into anywhere you like. just by asking the agent to export the latest files or any single file. it will show a dialogue box asking you where you want to save it. I suppose I could find the correct folder and save it there but I don't want to have to do that every time .Its easier to copy and paste code into xcode at the moment. Best of luck to you guys and the developer of this program. Don't mind anything I have said. Keep working please. I know you'll get there.
I have a question about the models since idk which ones are free which ones are not can you list which providers are completely free like the ones that don’t do that free trail shit. Cuz I’m having a hard time finding free providers.
