As usual with all companies providing a unique product. Once it reaches a certain limit without much competition they would (usually) start (haggling). Would try reducing quality increasing prices – unless a competitor provides something viable – the situation would remain that way indefinitely. Spare a few , such as HP when the laser printer prices dropped sharply from 2000USDs or so 1000USD without any notable competition – more like a public service philosophy the company had at that time

what a time to be alive. the AI community got some real ADHD problem. i literally just watch a video talking about moving to ReplitHermesGoogle this is almost a full circle going back into CodeX lol.
the AI space is only going to the moon from here. IMHO its really just "All-in-One" Cloud vs. Local IDEs, personally speaking i prefer the cloud. i dont have a powerful machine to run a local IDE so that pretty much drives the path i am on.
Claude code 20X max plan works great but you have to use the Claude code. it manages tokens.

Claude Opus 4.7 makes me hold my breath and stare at the screen like a statue so it doesn’t burn tokens on every heartbeat. That’s how ridiculous it’s gotten. If they don’t fix this, they’re not “the future of AI” — they’re going to be a footnote.

GPT 5.5 sucks so much at its frontend and design capabilities. Claude handles these way better. Even astonishingly well, now and then
I asked GPT 5.5 to do some research for a job interview. The prompt was to look at a couple different websites. It came back a few minutes later saying it was a cybersecurity issue and if I wanted to continue I had to join some cybersecurity program and upload my government ID and it would do some type of check on me. F that. Claude Code did it and provided a nice presentation for me to use during the interview. The interview went well and I certainly didn't have GPT 5.5 to thank for it.

im a manager at a bit corporation. Last week they gave me Claude code acess. Im not a tech guy, so um not running multiple agents and workflows in parallel… What Im able to reach with a 20 dollar Open Ai codex subscription, is costing me around 100-120 dollars/daily in tokens from Claude Code. To do the same job.
At the end of the month it means using claude code costs almost least 50x more than using codex. which is INSANE. At least for the kind of work im doing… N8N, Spreadsheets, nothing really complex
If only OpenAI would include the tools Claude does.. like the Filesystem MCP.
GPT Images 2 is insanely good. I’ve used it to make several great cartoons.
I've completely lost faith in Claude Code as of late. I am subscribed to the top end plans with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Grok. OpenAI is by far the best at this current point.
It seems that Google Gemini has the most generous token quota and 3.1 Pro is super capable. What do you think?

Thank you so much for right at the gate, pointing out the fact that the biggest issue with Claude recently is how they’re choking our resources and usage, literally is amazing as claw design is after an hour. My limits are cut off for a week and then across the whole platform, my paying for I’m still choked Way beyond in the other AI assisted code and website design platforms, which is why I’ve gone back to lovable and Gemini and I’ve been kicking ass this week and really repelled by Claude. So thank you for the Studio. I will circle back tomorrow as it’s 3 AM here in Los Angeles and I gotta get up in five hoursto vibe code a new client site design and just so so grateful for 2026 and over three years of me going in all in on AI for my AI assistant content creation and finally out of 2026 how much is helped us designers take things to a hold of the level building the best sites ever faster than ever!
