Reading the code of the cli tools that support openclaw, it's an insult to programming. But with a published ethos of "ship beats perfect" (meaning it's ok to publish your software with bugs) it's about what one would expect. The fast that millions of people are using openclaw doesn't make it good, thousands of people have had their entire email and social media accounts compromised and this plumb just says: vell zer vas a vorning.
Developing software for others to use comes with an intrinsic responsibility of security and the excuse of zis iz just a hubby project for myself, if not acceptable. At the very least, the money he has earned from openclaw, he should at least start fixing the well documented and gaping security vulnerabilities in his code.

I did a presentation on agentic AI and OpenClaw yesterday. During prep I saw this video and thought it had some nice quotes for my slide deck. I posted about that in my agent team's Discord server. There was no transcript on YouTube, at least yet, so the OpenClaw agent tackling this used a separate free tool/api to STT the video narrative, snip and rank 10 nice quotes, and inject a few into my slide deck. What a world we live in!

Honestly a very empty and pointless talk. I have already been Slack Bot. It’s called Bot telegram Bot and it is just a autonomous system that was going to happen anyways he didn’t mention the open AI collaboration or any plans for that now that open AI is in the USA federal government, this tool will be used to continue bombing countries and surveilling our citizens. He didn’t really explain any work flows or any real business use cases, great China is using it at full speed so what?
