This does not work well for developers, at all. Obsidian refuses to just ignore things like node_modules or other massively generated folders. Instead > create your own database structure as a developer. The only thing you'll miss is the graph, but whatever. Just make sure to use things like barrel imports for features and split it nicely so Claude can load whatever it needs, whenever it comes across it during development.

A better solution is to store them in MD files and then have rag act as the index to those MD files. You can run rug ingestion every couple of prompts for example.
LLM’s are a dead end, because they’re completely incapable of logic. They’re literally advanced to auto complete. Any developer who is attempted to use AI to assist with code will verify this fact. It’s still useful in that it can speed up coding, providing the developer provides the logic.

Actually Anthropic models are not that good at coding, they are significantly worse than GPT in everything except UI design.
Idk man I am not convinced, having a separate app to handle docs is probably worse than just stacking md files in your workspace, or even using a mcp docs server and dropping your stable documentation into its index, or a good ADR setup of docs, but I might be missing something

Just out of curiosity, how does this compare to just instructing the Claude code instance to just update a md file within the project folder and create a context md file etc that just saves it in the project folder?
