Tbf, my Gemini subscription just ran out.. and I started using Claude, and holy the communication difference is insane. Their Sonnet models are just amazing at communicating and reciprocating human speech, I felt like I was legitimately working with a conscious being which is a really striking thing for me to experience.
I think I'll wait till May 6th before I re-up, because this might be the moment I switch to Claude for studying and report building. I love how it doesn't need to be integrated into anything; it dynamically builds its own skills and integrates itself into most workflows using its own code.

These rapid releases exhaust me. Hiked above the tree line last weekend. Architectural innovation matters more than version increments.
I couldn't get the upgraded Gemini Flash in my testing, but I did get Opus 4.7 a few times, and the answers weren't impressive. One time the dumber model did the better job.
They keep randomly suspending accounts. They have suspended my account without any reason or due diligence.
