Claude Code is about to have a strong competitor in Google Antigravity. Just a hunch. I've heard that it used to be a joke, but it seems like Google is really putting a lot behind it now. I honestly might spend time getting familiar with that after I'm learning n8n. If I'm right, the demand for people who know it will be high with a low supply of people who do. At least in the freelance market.
I would like to automate a database website workflow where records are searched by specific dates, screenshots are captured, and the process is repeated daily for approximately one month.
Can this be implemented using n8n with browser automation and automated screenshot capture?
n8n is for backend workflows, claude code on the other hand is building an entire application which you cannot understand if you have no coding experience and if you are a coder than you have to audit the code slop in order to understand how the application works :/

Ai will get more complex as time goes by simply due to the amount of junk information out there that the average person has to filter just to try and figure out what to do. But once you know "what" to do, the tools themselves will become much easier and faster to get the final result. Its like going to the gym is easy…show up and lift weights. What makes in hard for most people is filtering out all the noise on how to train and how to eat. If you know how to do both….both are super simple.

Just curious – why you only mention Claude Code. Why not VSCode+copilot?
Use both. Use Claude or agentic workflows to build and test N8N workflows which are essentially JSON files. Definitely what you are saying about the learning phase applies. N8N makes understanding automation a lot simpler. The great thing about coding agents is they can build whatever you ask for. The bad thing about coding agents is they can build whatever you ask for. The structured framework and tooling of N8N provides guidance and guardrails for agents. The visual aspect I think works better for a lot of people. Small tasks segmented into boxes. N8N can even be used as a designer, where you design your workflow, test it, then tell Claude to implement it as a runbook or a Rust executable or whatever you want. The future of N8N, I don't know, but I think the future of visual workflow builders has only just begun. I call it "Thinking in the box" and it can be incredibly powerful.

I am a guy 59 yrs of age and yes i want to get into AI automation I have manually automated legacy systems but with the move to API and now AI. Whilst i have Claude Pro and have a VPS with N8N i am going to follow your advice and build with N8N then move to Claude Code as i get better – thanks again for a great video
This is great bullshit. If you running sophisticated and higly optimised wfs on n8n, you have these under controll, you can easy configure anything without rebuild an ap. For free. It is still much better and effective way that burning tons of claude tokkens
You didn't compare the amount of money you need to spend on both. I just dropped Claude Code and installed N8N locally because of the insane amount of money I spent only in a few days using Claude Code….
